"You're Gonna Go Far, Kid" is the second single and third track on the The Offspring's 2008 album Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. "You're Gonna Go Far Kid" along with "Hammerhead" and "Half-Truism", were played live before the release of Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. The song peaked at #1 on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart, staying there for 11 weeks and is the band's biggest ever hit on the chart. Only 15 other songs by various artists have spent more than 11 weeks at number one on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart.
